After my first business, I spent 10 years as a software/technology executive. I missed controlling my future.
So I got back into it.
I’ve been involved with franchising and licensing since 1995 when I launched my first business as a licensee of an established newspaper. It eventually became Colorado’s 2nd largest weekly newspaper. I grew it to be larger than my licensor before selling it to investors in 2005. I then worked as a VP in marketing and sales for some of the hottest start-ups in Denver including Local Matters and Clarity Digital’s Examiner before diving back into investing in a group fitness franchise again in 2014.
Owning my own enterprise and working to grow it has been my calling. In the last many years, I’ve consulted numerous new franchisees and new businesses. Working with small and medium-sized business has been my true passion since I first started in 1995. I believe in entrepreneurship and take great pride in helping others to do the same.

The choice to chase a dream. Pursue it. It’s scary. Challenging. Filled with doubt. But are the highs worth it? That is where I was; working in sales for finance and investment management for 15 years. Traveling 4 days a week, helping others with their business. I got to spend time in Little Rock, Kansas City, Portland and Seattle. I was helping entrepreneurs chase their dreams. Helping them overcome their challenges – and wondered why I wasn’t doing it for myself. Eventually tiring of racking up 150 nights on the road per year and missing my family, I started to investigate different businesses. From carpet cleaning to local financial planning practices. I would bid on a business, only to not win. I shifted my corporate life into areas where I could learn new skills and stretch myself, but I always had that dream of stepping out on my own.
And then I did..
I invested into a fitness franchise…I loved the build out, the training of employees, and the impact on people’s personal lives. I learned more in two years about franchising and myself than I could have ever imagined.
I am here to assist you in a process that is complex, woven with challenges, and where the highs are worth it. For you learn and decide what you want.
